So they want to build more. <br /><br /></div><div></div><div> People want judges to give out maximum sentences most of the time. Family's of the victims get a sympathetic ear from the press and the media. <br /><br /></div><div></div><div> Family's appear at paroles of the prisoners and want them sent up for another 10 years. I want them out working.</div><br /><div>By the way, are these the same people that will not vote for their own kids school Levy's !<br /><br /> People want to spend money on housing and food for prisoners and do not care about their own kids educations. What's up with that?</div><div>Just reduce the sentences in half. </div><div></div><div> How can we rehabilitate anyone when hope of any life at all is at the end of their sentence? <br /><br /></div><div></div><div> No company in the USA wants to hire a ex-con even for yardwork or as a stock worker. Read the paper in your community.</div><div></div><div> See how many people are arrested daily? <br /><br /></div><div></div><div> You and I will have to support them if they just do petty crime in the USA. No family can live on min. wage. If they pay $300 to have their record cleared, there is still a black blotch on it.<br /><br /> Legalise pot and that would get rid of over 1/2 the prisoners right there. If not, up the posession amount to be arrested with. We want to catch the big fish don't we?<br /><br /> As for me, I never have smoked or smoked pot and am 68yrs. old now. I have 3-10 drinks at the Olive Garden Restaurant per year.<br /><br /> If I am dying and in extreme pain, I'd want a good Doctor, some Health Store products and some pot. I have seen first hand how even the dying cannot get enough pain drugs at times.<br /> I was told it was not time for their shots yet. Both my Mom and Dad.</div><br /><div>..............................................................................................................................................................</div><br /><div> You say I do not know how it feels to be the family of a victim? My 13 year old daughter was abducted in broad daylight. Three guys with a gun raped her while she was on her month... </div><br /><div> Then six years ago, my 39 year old daughter ( same one as above ) , was stabbed to death by her husband and died in my arms. I am raising her two kids. Do I hate the husband? No. </div><br /><div> The devil took over that day and I refuse to give him the satisfaction of me hating the killer. I hate the deed , not the person. He was a great husband and a 5 star daddy before that horrable day.</div><br /><div> I was the first to forgive him. I asked him to turn around in court and face the family and apologize to them personally. The judge allowed it. I asked for counseling for the man. He got it. I send a few bucks per month for toothpaste, soap, deodorant and necessary items he needs.</div><br /><div> I hope to teach my grand kids not to hate and to forgive. Do not be guilty of teaching hate. What would your creator think of you hating for years?
